Our official photographer for the 3rd Summer Tango Marathon this June once again is Gamze Yerci.
She really does not need no introductions as her work and reputation speaks volumes but as it is customary here it goes.
She started Tango in 2007 in Istanbul and continued her dance life in Ankara and Bursa. In her photography adventure, which started as a hobby in 2016, she progressed over time and was invited as a photographer in many tango events. She had the chance to have two personal photography exhibitions, one of which was tango photographs. In the tango photos she takes, she particularly likes to follow the natural expressions of the dancers through the lens and to put them into portrait work.
We all remember the beautiful memories she created with her art last June and look forward to new ones this June.
